Description
My Client is looking for an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join their dynamic Physiotherapy Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1.Clinical Duties
a.To be professional, legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your own work including the management of patients in your care.
b.To ensure a high standard of clinical care to inpatient, outpatient and hydrotherapy patients under your management.
c.To undertake comprehensive assessments of patients and to formulate effective, clinically reasoned treatment plans.
d.To accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of patients and to organize this effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and service requirement.
e.To communicate effectively with patients and carers to maximise rehabilitational potential and provide safe and efficient discharge plans.
f.To liaise and provide specialist advice/ teaching to other members of the multidisciplinary team regarding a patient?s treatment programme and expected outcomes.
g.To liaise with community services as appropriate to ensure effective discharge plans for inpatients.
h.To participate in the on-call and weekend/bank-holiday rota.
2.Professional Duties
a.To maintain and demonstrate own clinical professional development by keeping up to date with new treatment trends and research, incorporating them into your work as necessary.
