Description
Specialist Biomedical Scientist/HPC registered Biomedical Scientist with Histology Experience required.
To be based at this busy North West England hospital, the Cellular Pathology Department is a newly built and innovatively designed laboratory which opened in February 2007 providing comprehensive Cellular Pathology Services to four hospitals.
The Department is CPA enrolled, it is awaiting inspection and has HPC Training Approval. The laboratory is newly and well-equipped; and is also fully computerised. The department processes a workload of approximately 40,000 Histopathology requests per annum and offers a wide range of diagnostic and immunocytochemistry tests to the four hospitals and a large GP community.
