Description
Key Responsibilities and experience for this role are:
? Ensure efficient and profitable co-ordination of vehicles and drivers to enable the delivery of excellent customer service, and in full adherence with all legal requirements.
? To continually monitor and manage routes to ensure optimum productivity, efficiency and profitability.
? Routing of and continual assessment of Vehicle routes.
? Debriefing and co-ordinating drivers and acting upon information to improve H&S, service and profitability.
? Communicating customer / lead information to service centre sales force. Understanding of route profitability measures.
? Day to day dealing with customers and other members of staff in and out of region.
? Maintaining a database with up-to-date information about drivers and vehicles.
? Administration duties for all area?s in traffic office.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualities and training:
? CPC would be and advantage
? Knowledge of all types of logistics or transport work
? Analytical - a strong decision maker
? Good customer service background
? IT literate /administration skills
? Geographical understanding
? Good communication skills
? People Management experience would be an advantage
? Previous transport office experience is desirable
