Description
PULSE Scientific are pleased to be representing a rapidly expanding drug discovery company that has a site in the Cambridge area. Due to increased demand for their services, they now have a requirement for a Biologist to join their busy and diverse team.
The ideal candidate will have:
?BSc/MSc in Biochemistry or a relevant Biological Science with 2 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
?Have some previous experience in developing and performing cell and/or target based screening assays within the pharmaceutical industry or during doctoral studies
?Have a sound theoretical understanding and practical skills in tissue culture and biochemistry techniques
?Be able to work independently and flexibly, with the necessary team working skills to flourish in a multidisciplinary environment
?Some knowledge of Excel and data management would be advantageous
?Some experience in immunology and/or inflammation projects or neurobiology projects would be advantageous but not required
This role is a temporary contract with an end date of March 2009.
