Description

Nurse Interviewers
London
c. £29,000 plus benefits
Immediate Start

PULSE are working alongside one of the UK’s leading independent providers of psychological healthcare services to people referred to them by Insurers, Solicitors, Employers and the National Health Service.

Due to major expansion, we are looking to fill a number of Nurse Tele-interviewer roles, based out of their office in Stanmore, North London (4 minute walk from Stanmore station - Jubilee Line).

This role is both diverse and challenging, and if you are looking to get away from the ‘typical’ nursing environment, this could be the role for you. Based solely on the telephone, you will assess clients medical conditions and gain a thorough insight into their medical history, and assess their needs based on insurance claims.

A solid nursing background (minimum 2 years post-reg) is all that is required clinically, ideally experience in occupational health or practice nursing although consideration will be given to those who have extensive general nursing skills (med/surg). Full NMC registration is also essential.

Given this is a telephone-based role, an excellent telephone manner is paramount, and candidates should have an excellent grasp of the English language (minimum IELTS score of 7 if applicable). Candidates should have full rights to work in the UK as well, as this post will not attract a work permit.

Candidates should be available to work a shift pattern, 37.5hrs per week. Shifts include 2 Saturdays per month. Hours that need to be covered on a rota basis are:

Monday - Thursday 9am - 9am
Friday 9am - 7pm and Saturday 9am - 4pm

Please note the above hours are the time the office needs to be covered, and would not represent your actual working rota.

A brief summary of the duties are below:

· To make pre-arranged calls to clients to collect medical histories
· To ensure that all disclosed information is recorded clearly and accurately
· To ensure that clients are aware of consequences of non-disclosure and encourage full compliance with request
· To maintain client confidentiality at all times
· To conduct all communications in a professional manner
· To ensure that work is completed in agreed timescales
· To undertake other tasks as required by Manager

If you are looking for a new direction in your nursing career, please call Gary on 0207 959 1163 for more information, or email your CV to gary.tatham@pulsestaffing.co.uk
