Description
We are looking for an Analytical Chemist to join our clients R&D team.
As a minimum we?re seeking candidates with a degree in Chemistry although higher qualifications are by no means going to work against you! Principally we are seeking candidates with a Pharmaceutical (GMP/ICH) background in Analytical Chemistry coupled with a good understanding of Synthetic Organic Chemistry. This role will involve you liaising with internal colleagues and also customers on projects so it?s important that you will have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry or a very closely related area. Good communication and time management skills will also be important.
The position will require a strong background in GC and HPLC as well as IR/UV spec and other techniques. Central to your suitability will be your ability to understand the requirements of an analytical method, change current methods and develop a method as necessary. With this comes a responsibility in Method Validation.
